The Statement3 steps from the Lineage's sapphire cantilever to a boron cantilever with a diamond cut to Grado's strict specifications — mounted in a hand-cured Australian jarrah wood housing that optimises mass distribution for exceptional tracking stability. Four reconfigured coils wound with six-nines OFC super-annealed copper wire and Alnico magnets form an ultra-low-mass generating system, delivering 5 Hz to 65 kHz controlled frequency response with 35 dB channel separation. The jarrah housing's unique tonal qualities present precise harmonic tones with a natural, organic character. Each Statement3 sees final assembly by John Grado at his Brooklyn workbench.

Moving Iron Generator
A design no other manufacturer matches.
While most cartridges use moving magnets or moving coils, Grado's moving iron design moves a tiny iron element through a fixed magnetic and coil assembly. This produces a generator with very low moving mass — for fast transient response — combined with a high output voltage that drives any phono stage with ease. The result is a warm, detailed, and dynamically alive presentation.
