T+A Amplifiers
Stereo power amplifier. Switchable mono.

The A 3000 HV is T+A's dedicated stereo power amplifier, delivering 300W per channel into 8 ohms and 500W into 4 ohms — with a switchable mono mode that increases output to 650W into 4 ohms for the most demanding applications. Its cross-coupled differential cascode voltage amplifier feeds a fully symmetrical MOSFET-driven current amplifier stage with thermal tracking bipolar output transistors. The voltage and current amplification circuits are galvanically separated on individual boards in distinct case sections, divided by 10 mm aluminum walls. 120,000 uF reservoir capacity and speaker terminals machined from solid pure brass with rhodium plating on every surface.
300W/8 ohm and 500W/4 ohm per channel in stereo; switch to mono for 650W/4 ohm with extended pure Class A range.
Voltage and current amplification on separate boards in distinct case sections, divided by 10 mm aluminum walls — zero magnetic stray fields.
Bipolar output transistors with integral temperature monitor diodes continuously track and compensate for thermal drift.
Machined from solid pure brass with rhodium plating on every surface for the lowest possible contact resistance.
The absolute reference.
T+A's flagship amplifiers operate at dramatically higher voltages than conventional designs — up to 360V in power stages. This forces the audio signal into the most linear region of each transistor's operating curve, achieving tube-like naturalness with solid-state power and bandwidth. Fully discrete construction with individually selected J-FET transistors, gold-contact relay switching, and double-mono architecture. The pinnacle of T+A engineering.
