This page explains what we collect when you use actualpower.com, why we collect it, and how to remove it.
What we collect
When you subscribe to the journal newsletter, we store your email address, the language you signed up in (English or Turkish), the timestamp of the signup, an unsubscribe token, and a coarse network identifier (the /24 or /48 block of your IP). That's it.
Why we collect it
Your email address is used solely to send you the newsletter. The unsubscribe token lets you opt out without us asking for further information. The network identifier is kept for short-term abuse detection (rate-limiting bot signups) and is not shared.
Where it lives
Subscriber data is stored on the same server that runs actualpower.com (a Turkey-hosted environment provided by turkticaret.net). It is not synced to any third-party email or analytics service. We do not use cookies for tracking — only the technically necessary cookies that keep the site working.
Who sees it
Only the Actual Power team. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise expose subscriber data to third parties. If our hosting changes in the future, this page will be updated before any data moves.
How to remove yourself
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it removes your address from the active list immediately. If you'd prefer a complete deletion (including the audit row that records the unsubscribe), email us at bulten@actualpower.com and we'll do it manually within 7 days.
Other data
When you browse actualpower.com, our hosting provider's standard access logs are kept for ~30 days for security and uptime monitoring. These logs are not used for marketing, not joined with your subscription record, and are rotated automatically.
KVKK / GDPR rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold about you by emailing bulten@actualpower.com. We will respond within 30 days as required by KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law) and GDPR principles where applicable.
Updates to this policy
If we change what we collect or why, we'll update this page and note the change at the top. The current version was last updated on the date this site was deployed.
