The LS-1002 is a Reference-quality speaker cable sold by the metre for custom installations. Its four-fold multicore design features four conductors, each containing 37 concentrically stranded wires in a double-symmetrical CC-297 configuration. DUO PE II foamed polyethylene insulation reduces capacitance while the solid PE outer layer provides mechanical protection.

in-akustik's multicore conductor arrangements use four-fold structures where the overlapping magnetic fields of individual conductors deliberately cancel each other out. This reduces inductance and minimises the skin effect at high frequencies, delivering a more neutral, dynamic frequency response.
DUO PE II
Foamed polyethylene, precision-stranded copper.
DUO PE II combines a foamed polyethylene dielectric with a solid PE outer layer for mechanical protection. The foamed core contains a high proportion of air, significantly reducing capacitance compared to solid plastic insulation. Paired with concentrically stranded copper conductors where each wire maintains a precisely defined position, DUO PE II delivers clean, detailed sound reproduction in a cost-effective, metre-cut format.
