Loss-free signal from amplifier to speaker
in-akustik speaker cables are engineered to deliver the audio signal from your amplifier to your speakers with the lowest possible loss. From the flagship LS-8005 AIR with 32 Cross Link Super Speed waveguides and 38 mm of conductor cross-section, to the award-winning LS-404 Micro AIR, every cable is designed around a single principle: air is the best insulator. Hand-assembled in Germany with individually tested connections, these cables let your system perform exactly as intended.
Fifth-generation architecture where conductors run freely suspended through the cable via precision clips, using air as the primary dielectric from connector to connector.
Diamond-shaped air chambers between concentric copper conductors reduce capacitance while maintaining the low resistance needed for speaker-level signals.
Every Reference and Excellence cable is hand-assembled at the Ballrechten-Dottingen facility with pre-, during-, and post-assembly quality inspection.
Three-axis rotation BFA banana and spade lug connectors with beryllium or tellurium copper contacts, rhodium-coated for lasting conductivity. Pressure-grouted at 1.5 tonnes — no solder in the signal path.
The engineering behind every product in the speaker cables range.
Fifth-generation air insulation, from plug to plug.
The AIR Helix design suspends conductors in a helical arrangement through the cable using specially engineered clips at precise intervals. Air replaces traditional plastic insulation as the primary dielectric, reducing capacitance by approximately 83%. The fifth-generation Point-to-Point innovation extends this architecture from connector to connector, with specialised transitions for each plug-cable combination eliminating the last remaining sections of conventional insulation.

Air insulation in a compact, flexible format.
Micro AIR technology creates complex diamond-shaped structures within the cable that form tiny air chambers between the concentric copper conductors. This increases conductor spacing and air content without the physical bulk of full AIR Helix construction, reducing capacitance while maintaining the low resistance and inductance necessary for speaker-level signal transmission. The result is a more compact, flexible cable that brings genuine air-dielectric benefits to a wider range of systems.

Foamed polyethylene, precision-stranded copper.
DUO PE II combines a foamed polyethylene dielectric with a solid PE outer layer for mechanical protection. The foamed core contains a high proportion of air, significantly reducing capacitance compared to solid plastic insulation. Paired with concentrically stranded copper conductors where each wire maintains a precisely defined position, DUO PE II delivers clean, detailed sound reproduction in a cost-effective, metre-cut format.
