35×70 mm Air Motion Transformer with new Silentweave™ cotton-and-felt absorption behind the diaphragm and ResoFrame™ elastomer damping for reduced mechanical resonance and smoother lower-treble response.
Resoseal™ Dome Midrange
2-inch soft-dome midrange with a thin elastomer mass ring applied to the rear of the cone — optimises midrange frequency response for richer, more natural vocal reproduction.
Three-Directional SLPP Port
Evolved from the previous generation's two-directional design — channels rear driver output, equalises pressure, and reduces turbulence for profound yet controlled bass.
Hybrid Metal & Wood Plinth
Combines metal and wood elements for enhanced structural integrity and reduced unwanted vibrations — cleaner, less coloured sound.

The EVO 5 Series is Wharfedale's most comprehensive refinement of the award-winning EVO formula. The AMT tweeter has been enhanced with Silentweave™ absorption and ResoFrame™ damping. The soft-dome midrange now features Resoseal™ technology for richer vocal reproduction. The ported cabinet has grown in volume and gains an all-new three-directional SLPP port, and a hybrid metal-and-wood plinth tames vibration.
