The PSD 3100 HV is T+A's integrated preamplifier-streaming-DAC for the HV system. It combines a Double-Differential-Quadruple-Converter (PCM 768 kHz, native DSD512) with a fully discrete Class A preamplifier in HV technology, relay volume control, and a high-power headphone amplifier with 4.4 mm Pentaconn output. Streaming via the ASA G3 engine covers Roon Ready, Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, and FM/DAB+. The PSD is designed for systems where a separate disc transport (PDT 3100 HV) handles physical media, keeping the signal path as short and pure as possible.
Eight 32-bit BurrBrown converters (four per channel) in differential configuration with four selectable filter modes including proprietary Bezier interpolation.

The HV source components house their electronics in pure aluminium chassis with five shielded compartments — no ferromagnetic materials, no operational amplifiers, fully discrete double-mono construction throughout. The SD 3100 HV, SDV 3100 HV, and PSD 3100 HV share the same Double-Differential-Quadruple-Converter (DSD1024 / PCM 768 kHz) with Class A HV-technology headphone amplification. The PDT 3100 HV provides a purist SACD/CD transport with custom linear-tracking mechanism, while the MP 3100 HV G3 integrates everything — disc, streaming, and conversion — in a single reference chassis.
