What Hi-Fi? on the Audiolab 9000A
The five-star review that cemented the 9000A as the new reference in its class.

When Audiolab announced the 9000A, the brief was simple: deliver the reference performance of the flagship 8300A in a more modern, more flexible package, without raising the price. Two years later, the reviews are in, and the result speaks for itself.
What the press is saying
What Hi-Fi? awarded the 9000A a full five stars and named it Editor's Choice in its category. The review praised the amplifier's composure at both low and high volumes, its generous feature set, and the sense of effortlessness it brings to complex material. Hi-Fi Choice called it a genuine successor to the legendary 8000A, and Hi-Fi News described it as a reference point for integrated amplifiers under £2,000.
“A masterful balance of refinement, power and musical insight that redefines what an integrated amplifier at this price can deliver.”

Our take
We have had the 9000A in our Istanbul showroom since launch, and our experience matches the press consensus. It is a genuinely complete integrated amplifier — powerful enough to drive demanding loudspeakers, refined enough to reveal the character of upstream sources, and flexible enough to form the heart of a system that will grow with you. The built-in ES9038PRO DAC alone would cost nearly half the price of the amplifier as a standalone unit.
