Hybrid phono preamplifiers for the dedicated vinyl listener.
Moonriver's phono stages combine IC operational amplifiers for ultra-low noise with discrete solid-state circuits for lifelike dynamics. Four independent inputs with per-input memory, passive RIAA equalisation, and dual-mono power supplies make them among the most versatile and musical phono stages available.
Hybrid Gain Stages
IC op-amps deliver vanishingly low noise; discrete output stages add body and drive. Different op-amps are used for MM and MC, each optimised for its application.
4 Independent Inputs
Connect four turntables or tonearms simultaneously. Each input stores its own gain, loading, and EQ settings via an onboard microcontroller.
Passive RIAA EQ
Minimal-component passive de-emphasis circuits for the flattest possible frequency response — plus Decca and Columbia curves for 78 RPM records.
Double-Shielded Design
Transformer and active gain circuits are fully isolated from each other — no need for an external power supply.
